Our client, a freight and logistics company, is seeking a temporary Accounts Payable Specialist to support its finance team in downtown Boston. The role covers a high volume of vendor invoices and is expected to last approximately six months, with the possibility of extension based on business needs.
The specialist will process invoices, match them to purchase orders and receiving documents, prepare payment runs, and respond to vendor inquiries. The position works closely with the accounting and procurement teams to resolve discrepancies and keep payments on schedule.
This is a hybrid position, with three days per week on-site in Boston and two days remote. Candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced month-end environment and have prior experience in a corporate accounts payable function.
