Remote Account Director

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of a portfolio of key accounts as the go-to strategic partner for each client
• Identify and close upsell, cross-sell, and renewal opportunities that expand revenue across your book of business
• Cultivate trusted, long-lasting relationships with senior stakeholders and executive buyers
• Build customized account plans that map client objectives directly to the solutions you provide
• Work hand-in-hand with internal sales, marketing, and product teams to ensure clients see measurable results
• Stay ahead of account health indicators, spotting risk early and acting before it becomes a problem
• Deliver polished presentations, strategic proposals, and quarterly business reviews with authority
• Keep your pipeline, forecasts, and account data clean and current inside CRM tools like Salesforce or HubSpot

Requirements

• 5+ years in account management, client services, or B2B sales with a strong commercial track record
• History of growing and retaining a portfolio of meaningful accounts year over year
• Natural ability to build rapport and credibility with senior-level client contacts
• Fluency in CRM platforms — Salesforce, HubSpot, or equivalent
• Sharp communicator with polished negotiation and presentation skills
• Highly organized with the bandwidth to manage multiple client relationships at once
• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field
• Background in SaaS, media, or agency settings is a welcome advantage
