Junior Software Engineer

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in developing, testing, and maintaining software applications
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
• Collaborate with engineers, product teams, and designers
• Debug issues and support troubleshooting efforts
• Participate in code reviews and team discussions
• Support deployment, updates, and system improvements
• Work with databases, APIs, and backend services
• Follow development best practices and coding standards
• Maintain documentation for code and systems
• Learn new technologies, tools, and development processes

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field preferred
• 0–2 years of experience (internships, projects, or coursework acceptable)
• Basic knowledge of programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, Java, or similar
• Understanding of web development fundamentals (HTML, CSS, APIs)
• Familiarity with version control tools like Git
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Attention to detail and coding accuracy
