Payroll Specialist

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Process employee payroll accurately and on schedule
• Maintain payroll records and employee compensation data
• Review timesheets and payroll documentation
• Assist with payroll audits and compliance activities
• Respond to employee payroll inquiries
• Update payroll systems and employee information
• Prepare payroll reports and summaries
• Coordinate with HR and finance teams
• Ensure confidentiality of sensitive information
• Support tax and deduction processing activities
• Identify and resolve payroll discrepancies
• Assist with special projects and administrative tasks

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
• 0–2 years of experience in administration, finance, customer service, or support roles
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, Google Workspace)
• Comfortable working with numbers and confidential information
• Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
• Professional, dependable, and results-oriented mindset
