Billing Specialist

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and process invoices accurately and on time
• Maintain billing records and customer accounts
• Review transactions and billing documentation
• Resolve billing discrepancies and inquiries
• Coordinate with internal teams regarding payment issues
• Generate billing reports and financial summaries
• Update billing systems and databases
• Monitor outstanding balances and payment status
• Ensure compliance with billing procedures
• Maintain confidentiality of financial information
• Support audits and documentation requests
• Assist with special projects and administrative tasks

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
• 0–2 years of experience in administration, finance, customer service, or support roles
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, Google Workspace)
• Comfortable working with numbers and financial records
• Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
• Professional, dependable, and results-oriented mindset
