Social Media Assistant

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Support the creation and scheduling of social media content across multiple platforms
• Assist in developing engaging posts, captions, short videos, and visual content ideas
• Monitor social media accounts and engage with audience comments and messages
• Track performance metrics such as reach, engagement, impressions, and follower growth
• Research trending topics, hashtags, and viral content opportunities
• Help build and maintain monthly content calendars and posting schedules
• Ensure brand consistency across all social media channels
• Assist with basic graphic design tasks using Canva or similar tools
• Collaborate with marketing and recruiting teams on campaigns and promotions
• Analyze social media performance data and suggest content improvements
• Stay updated on social media trends, platform updates, and algorithm changes
• Support influencer outreach and partnership coordination when required
• Contribute creative ideas for brand awareness and engagement strategies

Requirements

• High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field preferred
• 0–2 years of experience in social media, marketing, content creation, or digital support roles preferred
• Strong understanding of major platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook, and X (Twitter)
• Basic knowledge of Canva or other content creation tools preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Creative thinking and attention to detail
• Ability to manage tasks and deadlines independently
• Familiarity with social media trends and digital content formats
• Comfortable working in a remote environment
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Interest in digital marketing, branding, and online engagement strategies
• Willingness to learn new tools and social media platforms quickly
