IT Support Specialist

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Provide first-level technical support via email, chat, and phone
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and system issues
• Install, configure, and update software applications
• Assist with password resets and user account management
• Document support tickets and resolutions in the help desk system
• Escalate complex technical issues when necessary
• Support remote employees with technology setup and connectivity
• Maintain IT inventory and asset records
• Assist with onboarding and offboarding technology processes
• Create and update technical documentation and user guides
• Ensure timely resolution of support requests while maintaining excellent customer service
• Perform additional IT support and administrative duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred
• 0–2 years of experience in IT support, customer service, technical support, or related roles
• Basic knowledge of Windows, Microsoft 365, and computer hardware
• Familiarity with ticketing systems is a plus
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
