About the Role

Careerscape is supporting a client opening for a Remote Entry-Level Onboarding Specialist. This role focuses on supporting new hire onboarding, employee setup, and ensuring a smooth and professional onboarding experience for new team members.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and interested in building a career in Human Resources, People Operations, or Employee Experience.

The Onboarding Specialist will work closely with HR teams, hiring managers, and new employees to coordinate onboarding processes, documentation, and communication.

  • Coordinate new hire onboarding processes from offer acceptance through first weeks
  • Schedule onboarding sessions, training, and orientation meetings
  • Prepare and manage onboarding documentation and employee records
  • Communicate with new hires to ensure a smooth onboarding experience
  • Track onboarding progress, tasks, and completion of required steps
  • Support new hire system setup, access, and internal coordination
  • Maintain accurate records in HR systems and onboarding trackers

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred (HR, business, or related field)
  • 0–2 years of experience in HR, admin, customer service, or support roles
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, Google Workspace)
  • Ability to handle confidential information professionally
  • Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
