Accounts Payable Clerk

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices accurately and efficiently
• Verify invoice details and obtain payment approvals
• Prepare and process electronic payments
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
• Respond to vendor payment inquiries professionally
• Assist with month-end closing activities
• Update accounting systems with accurate information
• Collaborate with internal departments regarding invoice approvals
• Follow company accounting policies and procedures

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Basic understanding of accounting principles
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Reliable internet connection and dedicated remote workspace
• Previous accounts payable experience is a plus but not required
